Ease into night flying
From the Source
Night flying offers an almost magical experience for pilots—winds are often calmer, the air smoother, and all is dark except twinkling city lights, and if it’s clear, the stars and moon. Even taxiing can be an enchanting experience as you navigate Christmas-like green, blue, white, and red lights marking the taxiways and runways. But night flying also brings a unique set of risks that pilots must train to mitigate.
