FAA refines unleaded fuel transition framework

The FAA released the first major update of its Transition Plan to Unleaded Aviation Gasoline on July 30, revising with additional detail the roadmap for eliminating the use of tetraethyllead (TEL) in avgas and updating pilots and aircraft owners on the status of each fuel.
